- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon gyro chicken seasoning
- 1 pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and milk, whisking until smooth.
- Stir in chicken, carrots, peas, potatoes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and gyro chicken seasoning.
- Pour the mixture into a pie crust.
- Cover with another pie crust and seal the edges.
- Cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
- You can use store-bought pie crust for convenience.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
