- 3 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 hamburger buns
- Coleslaw (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Bake in the oven for 4-5 hours until the meat is tender.
- Remove from oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Shred the pork using two forks.
- Mix the shredded pork with BBQ sauce.
- Serve on hamburger buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
- You can cook the pork in a slow cooker instead of the oven.
- This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
