Ingredients

  • 2 beef steaks (200g each)
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into fries.
  3. Toss the fries in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Spread the fries on a baking tray and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Season the beef steaks with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  7. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the steaks with the fries on the side.
