- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, brown the beef over medium-high heat.
- Add onions and mushrooms, cooking until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over egg noodles.
Notes
- Use tender cuts of beef for best results.
- Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less broth.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.
