Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large roasting pan, place the pork shoulder and add onion, garlic, orange juice, lime juice, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the pork.
  4. Cover the pan with foil and cook in the oven for 3 hours.
  5. Remove the foil and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the pork is tender and begins to brown.
  6. Shred the pork with two forks and serve with tortillas.

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
