- 1 cedar plank
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill for 3-5 minutes until it starts to smoke.
- Arrange the salmon fillets on the plank.
- Close the grill lid and cook for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
- Ensure the cedar plank is untreated.
- You can add lemon slices on top of the salmon for extra flavor.
- This dish pairs well with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
