Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Add a layer of noodles followed by ricotta mixture and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce and mozzarella on top.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
