- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat.
- Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
- Add a layer of noodles followed by ricotta mixture and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

- Let the lasagna sit before cutting for easier serving.
