Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces chocolate, for melting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water and butter, bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in flour until the mixture forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  6. Spoon or pipe dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool completely.
  9. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  10. Fill cooled puffs with whipped cream.
  11. Melt chocolate and drizzle over filled puffs.

  • Use a piping bag for easier filling.
