- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce.
- Dip shrimp in buttermilk mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes each side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
