Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the buttermilk and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread whipped cream on top of the cake.
- Arrange sliced strawberries and blueberries to create a flag design.
