- 1 pound gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot.
- Add gnocchi and cook until they float.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add diced tomatoes and basil, season with salt.
- Simmer sauce for 10 minutes.
- Drain gnocchi and add to the sauce.
- Toss to combine and serve with Parmesan cheese.
