Instructions

  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
  4. Place the brisket in the smoker or on the grill fat side up.
  5. Cook for about 1 hour per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
  6. During the last hour, brush barbecue sauce on the brisket.
  7. Remove brisket and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
