- 4 lbs beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
- Place the brisket in the smoker or on the grill fat side up.
- Cook for about 1 hour per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
- During the last hour, brush barbecue sauce on the brisket.
- Remove brisket and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.

- Adjust cooking time based on brisket thickness.
- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
- Wrap brisket in foil if it gets too dark.
