Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
  5. Add cheese on top of the patties in the last minute of cooking, if desired.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your choice of condiments.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use 80/20 ground beef.
  • You can add your favorite spices to the meat mixture.
  • Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
