- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
- Add cheese on top of the patties in the last minute of cooking, if desired.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your choice of condiments.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For best flavor, use 80/20 ground beef.
- You can add your favorite spices to the meat mixture.
- Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
