Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla until sugar dissolves.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker.
- Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- When the ice cream thickens, add chocolate chips and nuts.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Scoop and serve on Labor Day.
