Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Place 4 noodles over the sauce.
  7. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  8. Add a layer of ground beef and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  9. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake for 45 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit before cutting for cleaner slices.
  • You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added nutrition.
