Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fondant icing
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Decorative sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and line a baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into the mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into the baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before icing.
  9. Roll out fondant and cut into shapes.
  10. Decorate with sprinkles if desired.
