Instructions

- In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve.
- Add mustard seeds and black peppercorns to the mixture.
- Pack the sliced vegetables into sterilized jars.
- Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the vegetables, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jars and let them cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate the jars for at least 24 hours before serving.
