Ingredients

  • 4 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  4. Place the pork in a roasting pan.
  5. Pour apple cider vinegar and chicken broth into the pan.
  6. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 5-6 hours or until the pork is tender.
  8. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest.
  9. Shred the pork using two forks.
  10. Mix shredded pork with barbecue sauce before serving.
