- 4 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork in a roasting pan.
- Pour apple cider vinegar and chicken broth into the pan.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 5-6 hours or until the pork is tender.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest.
- Shred the pork using two forks.
- Mix shredded pork with barbecue sauce before serving.
