Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (15 oz) sloppy joe sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and green bell pepper.
  3. Stir in sloppy joe sauce, cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
