Spinach Quiche July — Classic Recipe for Pure Comfort

A classic spinach quiche perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish.
  3. In a pan, sauté the spinach until wilted.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Add the sautéed spinach and cheese to the egg mixture.
  6. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until set and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Can add other vegetables if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
