- 1 whole beef brisket (10–12 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Trim excess fat from the brisket.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
- Place brisket in the smoker fat side up.
- Add wood chips for smoke flavor.
- Smoke for approximately 12-14 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).
- Wrap brisket in foil and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Slice against the grain and serve.
